A residential interior design project focused on personalized spaces, practical planning and long-term usability. The house is designed to balance themed interiors with a cohesive overall aesthetic, ensuring comfort, functionality and visual continuity.
The design follows a thoughtful and narrative-driven approach, where each space reflects its purpose while remaining part of a unified interior language. Themes are introduced subtly to ensure the interiors remain timeless and adaptable over time.
Children’s bedrooms are designed with distinct identities while maintaining age-neutral appeal. One bedroom features a Wonder Woman–inspired theme using an angular “W” motif in the ceiling and furniture detailing. The other bedroom draws from a cricket theme, incorporating custom wall elements, CNC detailing and ceiling features inspired by the sport.
The mandir is designed as a continuation of the dining area’s visual language. CNC-cut ceiling elements and marble finishes are used to handle heat from lamps and incense, ensuring durability while maintaining a serene and refined atmosphere.
The kitchen and dining spaces are planned for efficient daily use, with design elements that add cultural character. A Baal Krushna cut-out feature is integrated to bring warmth and identity to the space without overwhelming functionality.
A semi-private terrace gazebo is designed as a relaxed open-air retreat. Waterproof furniture and a Buddha water feature enhance calmness while maintaining privacy and usability in an outdoor setting.
The design addresses space limitations typical of row houses through smart planning. Kitchens and storage areas are expanded by reworking builder-grade layouts. Rooms are designed to be flexible and multi-functional, supporting changing needs over time. Material choices and layouts prioritize low maintenance and ease of cleaning, as per client requirements.
